The boys who produced and directed my film clip cut together a little bit of footage shot on the day to share with everyone. It’s kind of amazing how good you can make a shed full of sand look with some talent and perseverance. Unfortunately we’re missing the footage of the poor bastards who had to load it all in. Special mention for the dancers who probably had a rash from dancing on sand for weeks after.

So, I always find it really interesting when reviewers are so off the mark with who they think my influences are. I guess you are only able to compare with what you know, but quite often, it’s people I’ve never even heard of. It made me think about what actually has been influencing my writing over the past couple of years and thought I would share some of the songs that kill me, in a good way. It’s interesting for me to write down because I know if I had of written it a few years back it would have been filled with old Caribou, Juana Molina, Lali Puna, The Notwist, Psapp and Sufjan Stevens. How I’ve changed.
