I’ve just returned from a fantastic holiday to Cambodia and Vietnam. Saying that, I’m not exactly feeling refreshed. Instead a little exhausted from all the stuff we jammed in, including slipping in a solo show in Hanoi at a great bar called Le Pub. So, in my state of holiday recovery I’m busy preparing for tours as well as preparing to head back into the studio to start recording for a new project I’ve been involved. I’m super excited about it but more on that at a later date.

This month I’ll be The Resident at the Brisbane Powerhouse on a Friday afternoon. Shows kick off at 6pm, are free and I’ll be mixing it up each week a bit between solo shows and band. I’m also heading to Melbourne and Sydney in the coming weeks so If you’re around I’d love to see your faces. If your in Sydney and want to catch the show on June 24 head here for tix.

So.

On April 27 I’ll be taking to the Powerhouse Theatre stage with Quintet Topology and drummer John Parker to reincarnate and remember songs from the early 90′s. We’ll be playing songs by Radiohead, Nick Cave, Frente, Bjork, Sound Garden, Crowded House, The Cure and lots more and most importantly, we’ll probably be sporting some kind of hideous concoction of 90′s attire. Although we remember the 90′s for all the things it did so badly, there are also some absolute gems out there and we’ll be celebrating some of the best, and of course, a couple of the worst.
